STOP PRESS – SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT
Transvaal Yacht Club is very pleased to announce that the South African J22 Class Association has again agreed to be a sponsor for this prestigious regatta. The sponsorship will take the form of travel assistance for “away” participating yacht clubs. The basis for the assistance will be as follows:

• R2000 reimbursement for each participating yacht club from the Western Cape.
• R2000 reimbursement for each participating yacht club from the Eastern Cape.
• R1500 reimbursement for each participating yacht club from Kwa-Zulu Natal
• R500 reimbursement for each inland participating yacht club from outside of the Gauteng region. (ie Limpopo, Mpumalanga and Free State (Vaal Dam)

This reimbursement will help to offset the travel costs for coastal participating yacht clubs and boat towing costs for Vaal participating yacht clubs. The reimbursement will be given during prize giving on 16th June 2009.
